The "China Energy and Chemical Industry 30 Forum" was the first forum established in Beijing to discuss industrial changes in the post-epidemic era.

On July 31, the "Davos event" of the energy and chemical industry - "China Energy and Chemical Industry 30 Forum" - was launched in Beijing with the theme of "Changes and Responses of China's Energy and Chemical Industry in the Post-Epidemic Era". Nearly 30 high-level think tanks discussed the development of the industry, made forward-looking statements and discussed ideas, which marked a fruitful forum.

Gu Xiulian, Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress, delivered a speech and announced the opening of the forum. In her speech, she pointed out that under the current new situation of "great changes not seen for a century", China's energy and chemical industry is in a critical stage of development. So a permanent forum has been established to create a high-end industry think tank and promote information gathering and brainstorming from high-speed to high-quality transformations and upgrades, which has a very important practical significance and far-reaching influence. The establishment of the "China Energy and Chemical Industry 30 Forum" is timely, which shows that there is a source of ideas, a treasure house of wisdom and a lighthouse of direction in the two basic industries of energy and chemical industry, which are closely related to the national economy and people's livelihood. She encouraged colleagues in the industry to collaborate and support the growth of the forum. During the musical framework of the opening of the forum, were Vice Chairman Gu Xiulian, Chairman of the China Association of Industrial Economics, former Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Yizhong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association Li Shousheng , former Advisor to the State Council, State Councilor Xu Dingming, former Director of the Energy Administration, Bao Xinhe, President of the University of Science and Technology of China and member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Cui Xuejun, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China Chemical Industry News, jointly witnessed the establishment of the forum in front of the calligraphy scroll of Kaitan Fu.
