On July 31, the "Davos Forum" of China's energy and chemical industries - "China Energy and Chemical Industry 30 Forum" - was established in Beijing and the first forum was held. Gu Xiulian, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress and former Minister of Chemical Industry, and Li Yizhong, Chairman of the Chinese Federation of Industrial Economics and former Minister of Industry and Information Technology, attended the forum. 30 academicians, consultants, well-known scholars and experts, well-known entrepreneurs and other think tanks, focusing on the theme of "changes and responses of China's energy and chemical industry in the post-epidemic era", shared their thoughts and insights, built forward-looking words and shared new knowledge. Li Shousheng, President of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, chaired the first forum.
Mr. Shan Yubing, Chairman of CHOREN Future Energy Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. delivered a speech titled "On the production of high quality, clean and efficient conversion and utilization pulverized coal as the main measure for my country's energy transition" at the forum. Mr. Shan pointed out in his speech that at present, more than 55% of my country's proven coal reserves are low-in-carbon coal with a low degree of charring. Due to my countries coal reserves, easy utilization is limited. Therefore, the clean and efficient conversion and utilization of low-in-carbon pulverized coal with innovative processes should be supported and promoted as an important measure of my country's energy revolution.
To this end, proposals have been made:
- Departments at all levels should carry out comprehensive scientific demonstration and evaluation of low-carbon pulverized coal utilization technology, and select low-carbon pulverized coal utilization processes with advanced individual technologies, and carry out large-scale technical demonstration projects, to demonstrate the technology, to create the prerequisite for the utilization of tens of millions of tons of low-carbon pulverized coal. The technology should be applied to all levels. Improve productivity and competitiveness through large-scale production, fully utilize the scaling effect and synergy effect, and finally achieve efficient conversion of low-grade pulverized coal resources.
- By guiding coal energy policy, the state, influences the application and use of low carbon powdered coal, overcoming many common key problems. This involves taking advantage of various technologies and reducing the use of highly incarbonated coal (anthracite) and minimizing dependence on crude oil.
- The promotion of key industrialization technologies for clean and efficient conversion and utilization of low-in-carbon pulverized coal should be based on the scientific research platform of the National Energy Coal Key Laboratory for clean and high-efficiency coal conversion and clean and efficient coal conversion demonstration plant, further research and development of key technical equipment, and the direction of basic research and application research of related technologies. In this regard, the utilization of low-in-carbon pulverized coal and clean and efficient conversion and utilization technology should be continuously promoted.
