On March 10, Shanghai Huanqiu Engineering Co, Ltd and CHOREN Energy Technology (Beijing) Co, Ltd signed a PDP contract for the coal gasification project of Inner Mongolia Yili Group Erdos Yiding Ecological Agriculture Development Co, Ltd Shanghai.

This project represents a renovation project of Yiding Company's 600,000 tons/year synthetic ammonia and 1.04 million tons/year urea gasification plant. It is planned to build a new 110,000 Nm³ /h (2,000 tons/day of coal) gasification plant at Yiding Company. Shanghai Huanqiu will contract the project and the gasification technology will be the patented CHOREN CCG coal gasification technology.

According to Sun Gang, Chairman of Shanghai Huanqiu Engineering Co, Ltd, this project represents the company's first collaboration with Kunlun Bank, a subsidiary of Petro China Group. The whole process of building the project is an important step of innovation in the whole industry chain. It is also the first time that Shanghai Huanqiu is the general contractor for the design, procurement and construction of coal gasification plant using the core technology of the chemical coal industry. It is a milestone to consolidate and expand the business in coal chemical industry. Shanghai Huanqiu relies on the world's leading patented CCG pulverized coal gasification technology and the company's extensive project execution experience accumulated over decades, and is confident of opening up a new world in the coal gasification field.

Shan Yubing, Chairman of CHOREN Energy Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., said that German CHOREN Industrietechnik GmbH developed the patented technology of CHOREN CCG coal gasification. The gasifier features wide applicability of coal types, high gasification efficiency and compliance with high environmental standards. At the same time, the technology has realized the localization of engineering services, and the patented core equipment has achieved 100% localization, which significantly reduces the manufacturing, operation and maintenance costs of the equipment. The project of the second phase of Yiding Company chose CHOREN CCG patented coal gasification technology because of these advantages. The two parties will apply a new cooperation model, bringing their respective advantages to bear and pushing forward the development of China's coal chemical industry towards high efficiency, energy saving, cleanliness and environmental protection with advanced technology and high quality engineering.
