From March 23 to 26, the 90% 3D model review meeting of CHOREN-CCG coal gasification plant of the first phase of 1.2 million tons ethylene glycol project of Yulin Energy Group was successfully held in Tianjin Tianchen Engineering Company. Wang Haishe, deputy general manager of Yulin Energy Group, various professional engineers and technicians, designers of Tianchen Engineering Company and responsible project managers of CHOREN Energy Company attended the meetings.

During the review period, participants focused on detailed discussions and reviews on process engineering, piping layout, operability, inspection and maintenance, safety and environmental protection, etc. Optimizations were made and 60% of the 3D model review comments were confirmed. The content and depth of the model met the requirements of this model review. The equipment layout meets the requirements and the piping configuration is technically optimized. A total of 61 optimization opinions were published.

The review of the 90% 3D model of the CHOREN-CCG pulverized coal gasification plant was an important milestone in the project planning. The successful completion shows that the design work for the gasification unit has been accelerated and generated the foundation for the procurement of piping materials and the construction and installation of the equipment in the next step
