On March 20, Ordos Yiding Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. officially started the construction of 600,000 tons/year synthetic ammonia and 1.04 million tons/year urea project with the gasification unit of CHOREN CCG pulverized coal gasification technology. The project leaders of Erdos Yiding Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd, China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd, Shanghai Huanqiu Co., Ltd and local government departments attended the groundbreaking ceremony. The total investment for Yiding Company's reconstruction project is 750 million yuan. The project was submitted in October 2018. A new gasifier and supporting facilities will be built and are scheduled to be completed in September 2022.

On March 10, Shanghai Huanqiu Engineering Co, Ltd and CHOREN Energy Technology (Beijing) Co, Ltd signed a PDP engineering contract for the coal gasification project of Inner Mongolia Yili Group Erdos Yiding Ecological Agriculture Development Co, Ltd Shanghai. The second phase of the Yiding Company project plans to build a new gasifier with a daily capacity of 2,000 tons of coal and ancillary facilities. Shanghai Huanqiu contracts the project.

The project cooperates with Bank of Kunlun, a subsidiary of CNPC, and adopts the business cooperation model of general contracting + engineering project financing (EPC + F) to provide customers with funds, engineering technology and overall process services for engineering construction. Shanghai Huanqiu assumes general contracting for the design, procurement and construction of coal gasification plants for the first time.

It is reported that Yiding Company's project applies CHOREN CCG patented coal gasification technology in technological aspects. A gasifier with an overhead multi-burner design (3+1) is used. The cold gas efficiency will reach 81% ~ 83%, and the effective gas content of syngas will reach 88% ~ 93%.
